Home IT services

IT services that are tailored to your needs.

Managed IT, networks, cloud, security, backup and a help desk your people can actually reach. Taken together as a full IT function, or picked individually to fill the gaps you have.

What we run

Six services, one accountable supplier.

Most IT problems are not caused by any single service failing. They are caused by the seams between suppliers, where the network company blames the cloud company and nobody owns the outcome. Data HS covers the whole estate so there are no seams to argue about.

Managed IT Services

Your whole IT function on a fixed monthly fee: proactive monitoring, patching, user administration, licensing and supplier management. The goal is that you stop thinking about IT, which is the only sensible measure of whether it is working.

Network Infrastructure

Design, installation and ongoing management of wired and wireless networks, firewalls, VPN and site to site links. Documented and standardised, so adding a second office is an afternoon of work rather than a project.

Cloud Solutions

Migration to and management of cloud and hybrid estates, with EU data residency by default and a monthly cost review. We have never met a cloud bill that could not be cut, and we do not take a percentage of it.

Cyber Security

Endpoint protection, identity and access control, multi factor authentication, phishing resilience and vulnerability management, with a written incident response plan and an annual exercise against it.

Backup and Recovery

Tested backups, off site copies and documented recovery point and recovery time objectives. Including the annual restore rehearsal that almost nobody runs and everybody wishes they had.

24/7 Help Desk

Phone, email and chat support with response targets written into the contract. Staffed by people who know your estate, not by a script that asks whether you have tried turning it off and on again.

Microsoft 365 and Collaboration

Tenancy design and migration, mail and file governance, Teams and SharePoint structure, licensing optimisation and the retention policies that stop a tenancy becoming an unsearchable archive.

Servers and Virtualisation

Specification, deployment and management of physical and virtual servers on premises, in colocation or hosted. Consolidation, capacity planning and lifecycle replacement before something fails rather than after.

Endpoint and Device Management

Zero touch provisioning, policy enforcement, patching and remote wipe across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. New starters productive on day one, leavers cut off the same hour.

Unified Communications

Hosted VoIP, number porting, call routing, contact centre queues and meeting room video. Priced per user, portable between offices, and free of the multi year contracts telecoms suppliers prefer.

IT Procurement and Asset Lifecycle

Specification, buying, staging, asset tagging, tracking and certified secure disposal at end of life. Backed by our own hardware supply business, so lead times are something we control rather than something we relay.

Compliance, GDPR and NIS2

Practical technical compliance: data mapping, access reviews, logging, retention and the written evidence an auditor or an insurer will actually accept. Built into the estate rather than assembled in a panic beforehand.

How a contract works

A fixed fee, a written service level, and no surprises.

Managed IT goes wrong when the incentives are wrong. If a supplier bills by the hour, every fault is revenue. Our contracts are a fixed monthly fee, which means a stable estate is in our interest as much as yours.

  • A fixed monthly fee based on users and sites, not on tickets raised
  • Response and resolution targets written into the contract
  • A named engineer who knows your estate, with a named backup
  • Monthly reporting on tickets, patch status, backups and spend
  • Thirty days notice to leave, and a documented handover if you do

Managed cover plus strategic input, budget planning, project delivery and priority access to the development and consulting practices.

Best for: A growing business with a roadmap

Questions

The things people ask before signing.

Yes, and it is a common arrangement. An internal person who knows the business plus a supplier who covers depth, holidays and out of hours is usually stronger than either alone. We will agree in writing where responsibility divides.
The help desk is staffed around the clock and critical faults are picked up within the hour. Lower priority items are queued for the next working day rather than waking an engineer who will be less useful tomorrow.
A fixed monthly fee based on the number of users and sites, agreed before anything starts. Project work outside the contract is quoted separately and never billed as a surprise line.
No. Plenty of estates run better and cheaper on a hybrid footing, and some workloads have no business being in a public cloud at all. We will tell you which of yours are which.
Thirty days notice, and we hand over documentation, credentials, asset registers and network diagrams. There is no exit fee and no proprietary tooling holding your estate hostage.
No. We hold no reseller quotas that need filling. Where our hardware business could supply something we have recommended, we say so and you remain free to buy elsewhere.

Want to know what your IT should cost?

Tell us how many people you have, how many sites, and what is currently going wrong. We will come back with a scope and a monthly figure.
